FastStart Mini-Bootcamps at Lammle.com

| |

Have you noticed the introduction of new, hands-on, mini-boot camps at Lammle.com? We sat down with Todd Lammle of Lammle.com to get more information on these unique events!

Q. What is the main idea behind these new live formats?
A.
With many technologies today, you will notice that all you really need is a jump-start to get you going, and then you can learn all you need further about the technology just fine on your own. That is, of course, as long as this jump-start is well-taught, thorough, and includes hands-on, real-world style practice.

Q. Is it true the students do not need to worry about any special equipment or software?

A. Yeah, this is another thing I have always felt really strongly about. In order to get the best training of this type available, students need to be able to just show up with their Internet connection (modest) and a strong desire to learn!

Q. How in-depth are these sessions?

A. The topics listed in the outlines for the courses are covered FULLY. Just like these first courses, future courses will either cover a topic in detail, or they will cover a broad topic, but just from a foundational level. The Ansible FastStart is a great example. This course is going to get everyone started building Ansible solutions very quickly, but you could run 30 days worth of 4-hour Ansible courses and still never cover the breadth of that total topic, especially when you consider tools like Ansible Tower and Galaxy development.
