Prerequisites:
The knowledge and skills that the learner should have before attending this course are as follows:
- Experience with VMware vSphere: Participants should have familiarity with the administration of VMware vSphere environments, including VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter, and VMware vSAN.
- Storage Concepts: A basic understanding of storage replication technologies and disaster recovery concepts.
- Networking Knowledge: A foundation in networking concepts, including understanding of VLANs, IP addressing, and routing.
- Virtual Machine Management: Knowledge of how to create, configure, and manage virtual machines in a vSphere environment.
- VMware vSphere Storage Policy-based Management: Participants should understand how VMware vSphere storage policies are used and managed.
It’s recommended, but not required, that participants have completed the following courses before enrolling in the VMware Site Recovery Manager training:
